Samsung has announced the SGH-t539 Beat, a flip style music phone. The Beat features a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x zoom and video capture, stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, MP3 player with support for MP3, WMA, AAC and AAC+, a 1GB microSD card is included with support for up to 2GB cards, SMS, MMS, and IM support for AOL, ICQ, Yahoo! and Windows Live Messaging. The Beat has dedicated external music controls with an external speaker. A nice note is that the Beat comes with a USB cable, wired stereo headset and the previously mentioned 1GB storage, so you can use and enjoy your phone out of the box without spending more money on “optional” accessories.
The Beat is currently available from T-Mobile for $99.99 with a 2-year contract.
