Easy boys, this is a mashup of two things hitting the tubes today. Above is a concept drawing of a iPhone tablet computer design. We know Apple loves the tablet idea and maybe its time has come (again). The other news is a bit more solid, but not by much.
Asus has privately confirmed they are working on a tablet design not based on their own designs (which probably looks nothing like the above). Asus does contract work for Apple on things like MacBooks, iBooks and PowerBooks. Kudos to the boys and girls at Crave for digging this up.
Macworld would be a great time to launch a piggyback product like this for the iPhone, especially if they are not showing off iPhone 2 yet. Will Steve bring out something like this? Will we buy it?
