Finally, the weekend. It is time to relax from a stressful work week and take a look at some of the hot deals for today. We have deals ranging from PayPal savings, to a HP Mini Netbook, to some Circuit City liquidation sales, and a deal on RAM.
PayPal
Many consumers use PayPal as a method of faster online shopping, and some feel it is more secure than entering in credit card information. Personally, I love using PayPal when shopping because it allows me to speed through checkouts, and it’s a lot safer to me than using a credit card.
Some online stores are offering exclusive deals if you make a purchase with PayPal. For instance, you can save up to 50% at Buy.com when purchasing select Valentine’s day gifts. In addition, Zale’s Diamond store is offering $50 off a purchase of $200, with the coupon code “ILOVEPAYPAL”. Lastly, Beauty.com is offering up to 20% back, and eHarmony is offering 23% off for the first 6 months when using the coupon code “FINDLOVE”.
HP Mini Netbook
If you are in the market for a new netbook, and there is good reason to be, you may want to consider purchasing the HP Mini 1000 Intel Atom 1.6GHz 8.9” Widescreen Notebook. To get the netbook for $297, you will have to click this link, select “FREE Upgrade to 1GB DDR2 System Memory (1 Dimm)” and then apply the coupon code “SV0704”. The Mini 1000 comes with a 8.9 inch LCD screen, with a resolution of 1020 x 600, 1GB RAM, integrated web-cam, 2 USB ports, and Windows XP Home edition.
Circuit City
Ah, Circuit City, it will be sad to see you go. As I’m sure you already know, they are going out of business and are selling everything. From the above picture, we can see that they are offering 25% off on Plasma TV’s, 20% off on Digital Cameras, 40% off on car audio, and 40% off on whatever else they have to sell. If you are looking to pick up a few new gadgets, or even a TV for the Super Bowl, you might want to head over to your local Circuit City.
Crucial RAM
Instead of spending a whole lot of money on a new laptop (after all the purpose of this article is to save you money), you may want to consider just buying some good ol’ RAM to speed up your computer. Fry’s Electronics has Crucial 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 SO-DIMM 200-Pin Notebook Memory Kit with two 2GB SO-DIMMs on sale for $36.99 and shipping costs $6. However, they are offering a $15 mail in rebate, which brings the price down to a cheap $21.99. This deal ends February 12, so you have plenty of time to get on this deal.
That’s all the deals we have for today, come back tomorrow and see what other deals I can find.
