The crystal case is scratch resistant, shock absorbent and made from a shatterproof polycarbonate plastic. This is the same material used for making protective eye wear and many GPS navigation devices. The Proporta crystal case has all the necessary cut-outs that give access to the Eee’s ports and controls. For added security, Proporta puts in a secure closure catch that would prevent accidental opening, and a double hinge that enables 360 degree folding.
