PMP screen disappears when not in use

by Natesh Sood on Oct 6, 2007 at 12:26 AM

Ocean Leader PMP

The OL-18H from Ocean Leader Development boasts a rather interesting/weird feature. When not in use, its 1.8 inch screen simply disappears. It’s similar to Sony Ericsson’s Z610i, nonetheless its still an odd feature for a PMP.

Other than this weird use of technology, it’s basically an average player that plays music, videos, has FM radio and records voice. It supports a variety of formats including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPV and AVI for video with MP3 and WMA for music as well as JPEG and TXT. It comes in black, red, silver and blue. Unfortunately, price and storage capabilities haven’t been released. Expect this player to first sell in China though.
