SanDisk is running a promotion lowering prices on its Sansa View.  The players come in three different capacities, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB.  You can save $10 on the 8GB model ($139, down from $149).  The 16GB model will go for $159.99, down from $179.99.  The 32GB version sees a $50 price drop, selling for $199.99.

If you shop around, you can actually get the SanDisk Sansa View 8GB for under $100 at Amazon.com.  The Amazon prices for the other two models are higher than SanDisk’s promotional deal.  Offer ends Sunday, December 28th, 2009.

These players are very thin, come with a built-in mic and a 2.4-inch screen.  The View supports MP3, WAV, WMV, unprotected AAC files, MPEG4 and H.264 video.  The players also have microSDHC slots in case you want to up the capacity.  They even throw in an FM tuner in the View.  Seems like a pretty good deal if you don’t want an iPod or Zune.
