Philips Digital Photo Frame Displays

Philips is no longer a stranger to the digital photo frames market. In fact, some of the products under its Digital PhotoFrame brand are very popular and well-admired in this industry. Now, the company has unveiled its enhanced and extended product line at the CES 2008.

Aside from adding six, 7 and 8-inch models, these elegantly-designed digital photo frames promise to deliver the best viewing experience with Philip’s RadiantColor, a technology that “extends the color on the edges of a less-than-full-screen photo to the sides of the screen.”

For easier viewing and sharing, it has a built-in USB connector and 2 memory card slots. The downside, however, is its lack of Wi-Fi connection to its frames, a common feature added by many manufacturers to easily transfer images from laptops.

Moreover, it has an enhanced version of “collage effect” or a slideshow displaying multiple images in a collage form.

SmartPower, as the name suggests, is the energy-conserving feature which enables users to preset the displaying time on their preferred hours or days.

Available starting first quarter of this year, a 5.6-inch frame has a price tag of $70, the 7-inch for $90, and 8-inch for $140.
