Pentax drops prices on cameras

PENTAX K20DMany companies are now taking steps to ensure that their business stays alive during this recession and to encourage consumers to start spending money on their products.  PENTAX has announced that starting this week, they will be making price adjustments in order to increase sales of their digital camera line.

Until February 22, all PENTAX K20D digital SLRs and K20D body and lens configurations will have an in-store instant $100.00 rebate applied at check out.  Also, if you purchase one of the cameras before March 31, you can access a free three year warranty.  You can also buy a battery grip for less than $20 with the purchase of the camera.  They normally retail for $129.

Other PENTAX digital camera products will get a price reduction as well this month.  The PENTAX K2000 is getting lowered to $600 while the K2000 single and double lens kits will cost $550 and $650 respectively.  The K2000 body is going to retail for $500.  Most of these deals are for a limited time, so you will want to take advantage as soon as possible.
