Panasonic adds the DMC-FX37 to its LUMIX Line-up
Those who have a passion for photography are aware of Panasonic’s LUMIX range of Digital Cameras. Panasonic has extended its LUMIX portfolio with the introduction of the latest LUMIX DMC-FX37 digital camera. This 10.1-megapixel camera has a 25mm equivalent ultra-wide angle LEICA DC lens along with 5x optical zoom.
It is equipped with an intelligent scene selector that automatically selects from Scenery, Macro, Portrait, Night Portrait, and Night Scenery modes with regard to the shooting environments. Panasonic has added some fresh scene modes comprising of Film Grain, Pin Hole and Flash Burst. Additionally, the DMC-FX37 comes with a transform effect to let the users play with pics and add some humor.
Interestingly, its face detector can capture 15 faces precisely in sharp focus. The company claims that with the increased face detection accuracy and a newly added AF Tracking function, a continuous AF/AE adjustment can be achieved even when the face is turned sideways to the camera or while in movement.
Additionally the Panasonic DMC-FX37 also monitors the light source. If the light source is found behind the subject, it automatically turns on the back light compensation function. Thanks to the Intelligent Exposure function, users can click natural images. This functionality suppresses obstructed shadows and blown highlights.
The camera lets you shoot high-definition 1280 x 720p motion images at 30 fps. You can choose from available three colors; silver, black and brown. The price hasn’t been disclosed yet.
