Onkyo is preparing to launch the DV-HD805 a HD DVD player that is based on Toshiba’s HD-XA2. Onkyo is a supporter of both HD DVD and Blu-ray and although the DV-HD805 is HD DVD they are hoping for a good universal solution in the future. With just a few details being leaked out we can expect HDMI 1.3 and DTS-HD Master Audio Support.
The DV-HD805 should be available this fall, no word yet on pricing.
