OLPC ‘Give One Get One’ program starts today

by Robert Nelson on Nov 13, 2007 at 02:59 AM

OLPC XO Laptop

Just a reminder, the OLPC ‘Give One Get One’ program begins today. The program is open to anyone in the US or Canada and lets you purchase an XO laptop for $399. Your money will get you two laptops, one for yourself and a second that will be distributed to a child in need.

These laptops will only be available to the general public from November 12th through November 26th so if you are considering a purchase, you may not want to wait to long. Overall it seems to be a great way to donate to charity, not only are you giving something useful to someone in need, but you also get a nice reward for your donation.

To get (or give) an XO laptop, hit the link below.
