Nintendo and Norwegian Cruise Lines signed an agreement so Wii consoles will soon be available on board all NCL’s ships. The Wiis, which will be sent to ships with the game Wii Sports, Wii Play, Excite Truck and WarioWare: Smooth Moves, are currently available on the Norwegian Pearl and all NCL America ships. The rest of the fleet will carry Wiis by the end of the month.

The systems will be available in the atrium and other public rooms of the ships with giant screen where tournaments will be hosted and a bunch of people can try to dive for controllers at the same time. Wii Kiosks will also be set up in the Kid’s Crew area of each ship.

I wonder if rocky waters will mess with the WiiMote’s internal, motion sensors at all? If you happen to take cruise in the next month or so and get to play a Wii on the high seas, please let us know.
