Nokia Music Store

Nokia has launched their Music Store in the UK. The service requires a N95 or N81 but will allow users to download music directly from their handset or from their desktop computer. Any tracks that are downloaded on your desktop computer will then be transfered the next time you sync.

The tracks are 80 pence each or 8 pounds per album, which is about $1.70 per track or about $16.70 per album, which keeping with other over-the-air services they are expensive. Overall its a nice option to have, wireless over-the-air downloads are appealing, even if you rarely download that way. Hopefully Nokia will expand this service out with support for more handsets and more countries.
