In case you are living under a rock you know that the possibly the world two greatest powers combined to transform your fitness experience. Nike and Apple have created a new system that turns your iPod nano into a pedometer and much much more. The device is available now to order (though it will not be delivered for 4-5 weeks). For $29 you get a pedometer to put in your Nike+ shoe and a transmitter to attach to your nano. You will still need to spend a nice chunk of change on new Nike+ shoes and if you want other specially designed apparel, but at least the Nike+ line will become standard so you have options.
