by Glenn Wolsey on Mar 13, 2007 at 05:27 PM

sandisk_8gb_ultra_ii_sdhc.jpgSanDisk has stepped up to the plate and released new Ultra II and Extreme III 4GB & 8GB Class 6 SDHC memory cards - perfect for photographers wanting the best in quality, size, speed, and reliability from their flash memory.

The cards have a write speed of 6mbps. They go on sale in June this year. The 4GB for $180, and the 8GB for $240.

Overall they are very expensive cards, but if your looking for something you can trust, don’t go past SanDisk flash memory for your storage needs.

I rembember when a one gig disk was $500 and scandisk was the disk to avoid. Although touted to be the best in many fine photographic circles it was their card reader that ate their disk and lost the wedding photos. No Thanks.  Who wants that big of a disk? With the sizes today I still shoot over several disks in case one in lost, damaged or is put in a scan disk card reader.  Shoot with 20 D and L series Lenses by Canon
