Ludacris is talking about how long he’s been making music.  Each song is like a movie.  “Sounds amazing in Monster HDS.”  “Theater in the Mind” album is in Monster HDS.  Lee and Ludacris pose on stage.  Lee mentions that he mixed the album.

iTV PowerCenter.  “Monster and Digeo are going to turn every TV into an IP Network TV.”  CEO of Diego comes up to the Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction.”  Diego is using their Moxi interface with Monster.  Monster’s new strategy is to partner up.  Monster headphones:  Noel Lee started with music and audio.  Wants to bring experience of a great loudspeaker.  “I see speakers on the decline.”  Monster wants to bring big speaker sound to the average user with an iPod.  Showing off “beats” headphones (the collaboration with Dr. Dre).

Monster looking at the UPS (uninterrupted power supply) market.  Right now, UPS are rated in VA.  Monster is putting a count down clock on their UPSs.  That’s actually a pretty good idea.

HDMI cable lengths over 50ft right now, pretty impossible.  Now, Monster is working with Gennum to get beyond that limitation.  Martin Rofheart, Sr. VP and GM Analog and Mixed Signal Division, Gennum Corp. Gennum and Monster partnered up to create long runs of cable.  21Gbps in 75 ft cables.

The HyperSpeed cable, is twice the bandwidth is actually smaller in its physical size.  About 15% smaller in diameter.  Demand for longer HDMI cables because people want to place their components away from their wall-mounted TVs.

At the Monster Press conference.  The stage is set up and it looks a lot like a boxing weigh-in/press conference.  We’re waiting on Noel Lee, “The Head Monster.”  There looks to be new products on the tables next to the podium.  We can see earbuds and a product called “Digital Express.”
