AT&T has just announced a deal with Napster that will allow their wireless customers to use Napster Mobile. The service will begin in mid-November and give AT&T wireless customers access to sample, purchase and download any of Napster’s 5 million songs directly to their mobile phones. Pricing is similar to other over-the-air download services, it will cost you $7.49 a month for 5 songs or $1.99 per track. A true over-the-air download service would be great, Napster has a great selection of music but at $7.49 for just 5 songs it seems this will have to wait.
