Music of the 80s, via USB cassette tapes; rad!

A nice touch on this unit is that it actually looks like one of the ‘bricks’ that we used to use in the 80’s (yep my era I am afraid).  This USB Cassette Deck will allow you to convert all your old cassettes into digital MP3’s on your computer (PC and Mac) as easily as plugging it into the USB port and hitting the button:

Completely plug and play with no special drivers required, the USB Cassette Deck comes with idiot-proof Audacity and EZ Tape Converter software. This allows you to archive your recordings directly into iTunes in a few clicks.

The lingering question is would you really want to transfer the poor quality tapes onto your computer? I am not convinced the quality would be good as my recollection is more of recorded music off the radio, borrowed from friends, tapes that got mangled, trod on and covered in beer at parties.  But you know what?  That isn’t the point.

Nostalgia alone makes this a highly attractive product.  Costing £99.95 it is only available to addresses in the EU.
