MTV and Microsoft announced today that they are working together to launch a new digital music service. The service, called “Urge,“ will be bundled with Microsoft’s next version of Windows Media Player. It’s about time Microsoft joins the party.
The service will include more than 2 million songs and some MTV original content… most likely music videos. Hopefully the companies will add something new to the music scene with their entrance, or else they’re just over-saturating the market. Regardless, welcome to online music.
