MSI unveils five new C Series notebooks

MSI unveils five new C Series notebooksMSI has recently announced five new additions to their C-Series notebook lineup.  The new models include the CX600, CX700, CR600-013, CR600-017 and the CR700, all of which are currently available.  In terms of pricing, they will be starting at $549.99.

The 600 models will have a 16-inch (1366 x 768) display with the 700 model sporting an even larger 17.3-inch (1600 x 900) display.

Otherwise, the CX600 and CX700 will be powered by a 2.0GHz Pentium Dual Core T4200 processor with a SIS 672DX+968 chipset, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 graphics card, a super-multi optical drive and will be available in black and silver.

The remaining models, which include the CR600-013, CR600-017 and the CR700 will all have the NVIDIA MCP79MVL chipset with a GeForce 8200M G graphics card.  Breaking these models down a little more, the CR600-013 and the CR700 will be powered by a 2.0GHz Pentium Dual Core T4200 processor and have a super-multi optical drive.  The CR600-017 will be powered by a sightly faster 2.1GHz Pentium Dual Core T4300 processor and come with a Blu-ray optical drive.  These models will be available in black and grey.

Additionally, all five models will include a standard 320GB hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, three USB 2.0 ports, a 4-in-1 multi card reader and a 6-cell battery.
