We first saw some leaked images of the Motorola A810 show up back in early February, but at the time there were just a few scant details about the handset itself. Well now, thanks once again to the FCC we have some more images and also some more details on just what the A810 will be packing. Based on the details available, the latest smartphone from Motorola will be quite a bit more exciting than their uber-famous RAZR. The A810 will be a Linux based smartphone featuring a large touchscreen display with both an onscreen keyboard as well as handwriting recognition. Other features of the A810 include a stylus, 2-megapixel camera, microSD card slot, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack and an FM radio.

Sadly the one item that is not referred to in the FCC docs is the inclusion of the GSM 850MHz band support, which would be necessary for the smartphone to land here in the US. Currently the A810 is listed as offering support for the GSM 900/1800/1900MHz bands.

Typical with the FCC finds, there is not any mention or clue as to when the smartphone will be release, nor how much it will retail for. Keep reading for a few more images of the A810…
