Microsoft’s “Games for Windows” (GFW) which brands games for, well, Windows, will launch with LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (LucasArts) and Company of Heroes (THQ). All GFW releases will be packaged in DVD cases and have the new nifty logo on the box. Microsoft claims the games under the label will be easier to install (*chuckle*), support widescreen formatting, compatible with the Xbox 360 controller for Windows, and launchable within Windows Media Center. Thanks for clearing up which games work on Windows. Now when you think you’re grabbing the “LEGO Star Wars” game off the shelf, you might actually be grabbing the “Leggy Star Whores” DVD. Do you see how confused we are now?
