Logitech AudioHub:laptops get desktop functionality and bulk

For $99 you can add the Logitech AudioHub to your notebook, and turn it into the desktop that you probably should have bought in the first place.

For some people, the generally poor internal speakers or the old fashioned headphones just aren’t enough.  For those that wish to clutter up their Notebook with this somewhat chunky looking set of bolt on speakers, have at it.

The AudioHub combines a unique 2.1 one-piece speaker system and three integrated Hi-Speed USB ports in a compact design that fits neatly behind most notebooks.  “Today, a broad range of people – not just traditional road warriors – are using their notebooks as their primary home computer and digital music platform,” said Tim Leehane, director of product marketing for Logitech’s audio business.

As a bonus, you get an additional three USB drives, which means you can add an extra three USB devices to your bag which has become so large and heavy that you can’t haul it around, so you end up doing all your computing at home - instead of just starting with the desktop.
