LG readies their RAZR
The LG CU500 surfaced a while back with Cingular mentioned as service provider. Now finally have the first pics of the handset and some more spec information via Howard Forums. CU500 is a slim clamshell with internal antenna, a 1.3 MP swiveling camera in the hinge, and dedicated music keys on the front cover.
The CU500 was also approved by FCC a couple of days ago. It is a quad-band GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900) and tri-band UMTS (WCDMA) (850/1900/2100), which would turn it into global “world†3G phone. The swiveling camera eliminates the need of a secondary one for video calling, which is a main feature of all 3G-capable phones and the internal display is a 2.0” QCIF unit. The branding on the phone clearly shows that it is targeted for Cingular, and we expect it to launch soon.
