Lenovo ThinkPad X301

Lenovo has just announced an update to their X300, which is appropriately named the ThinkPad X301 and it comes with some welcomed improvements. Now included will be a few more, larger options for SSD-based storage, with a possible upgrade to either 64 or 128GB.

In addition the X300 will also be powered by an Intel Centrino 2 processor, as well as have support for DDR3 RAM and DisplayPort. Lenovo has also added an option to have built-in support for UWB and 3G broadband (with GPS), these will be tied to the AT&T network. Other specs of the X301 include either a 1.2GHz U9300 and 1.4GHz U9400 processor and a 13.3-inch backlit display.

Look for the ThinkPad X301 to be available beginning August 26, pricing will begin at $2600 and go up depending on configuration.
