T410

The Y-series notebooks have been previously available in Asia only but now Lenovo has brought a Y-series notebook, the Y410 to the United States. The Y410 will include built-in facial recognition for security purposes and a Shutter Center control for easier music and movie playback without the need of booting the main system. The Y410 will be available in two versions, the Staples version and Office Depot version. The Staples version offers a 1.46GHz Pentium dual-core, 1GB memory, 160GB hard disk and DVD burner at a cost of $735 while the Office Depot version has higher specs with a 1.66GHz Core 2 Duo and 2GB of memory for $900.
