Kyocera may not be a well known mobile manufacturer but it sure does know how to make its presence felt in this already crowded mobile phone industry. So, when it decided to release a new mobile handset, it announced not just one but three new models, all running on CDMA networks – the Neo E1100, Mako S4000 and the Adreno S2400.

Unfortunately aside from the weird sounding branding that goes with each of these mobile phones, Kyocera didn’t include many innovative features. In brief, here’s a lowdown on each of the new phones from Kyocera.

First up is the Neo E1100 sporting an illuminated design with “breathing” pipe, a 2.2-inch QVGA display, external OLED display, Bluetooth 2.0, Speaker-independent voice recognition and 1.3-megapixel camera with its own dedicated key. The Neo E1100 offers up to 220 minutes of talk time. Next up, the Kyocera Mako S4000. Sporting an elegant design has a large keypad with both internal and external display, Bluetooth, picture caller ID and runs for 250 minutes when used for calling. The last model which is the Adreno S2400 seems to be geared for users with a rugged lifestyle. With a sporty and simple design, this phone has large keypad, Bluetooth, advanced voice activated dialing with speaker-independent voice dialing. It could last up to 200 minutes of talk time.

Since Kyocera has not reached an agreement with any cellular provider yet, pricing is not yet available. But with the simple features that those phones have, it won’t probably cost too much.
