Kodak to acquire a new scanner division

Kodak is making sure that they have every area of imaging covered. They already make cameras, printers, and scanners. Now, they’ve announced that they are going to purchase the scanner division of Bowe Bell + Howell.
Who is Bowe Bell + Howell? They make document scanners that are used by the government, legal markets, and general offices. Bowe Bell + Howell is based in Chicago and operates its business all over the world. They have compact scanners as well as scanners that can scan large documents such as blueprints.
The deal will completed by the end of Q1.

Kodak has come a long way as a company for many many years. And despite the rapid changing of technology in their industry, they have survived it all; adapted and grew to face the rising challenges. Once again they are taking hold of another corner of the imaging industry to remain one of the powerhouses of the digital imaging market. It is also noteworthy that they are completing this deal amidst one of the greatest recessions in American history. More power to them.
