The highs: 4 gigs, $199, 24 hours of battery life (with lots of asterisks), and it allows you to go old school and listen to FM radio!

The really high: The standout feature is the gorgeous screen, a 2.2” wide QVGA AMOLED—a screen could actually stand to watch a movie on.  Seriously, this screen walks all over the competition at this price.

Is a nice screen enough to ditch the iPod?  For some I bet it will. Get it now direct from iriver, or wait for the siblings (a $149 2GB and a $249 8GB)
