iPhone’s “Guided Tour”
Apple sent some iLove today in the form of the an iPhone guided tour. A fun 20 minute romp of just how slick the iPhone is. So what did it reveal?
Nothing new. It did remind us how nice and easy they have made the cell phone. Finding how to change your ringer is not buried under 13 different sub menus. It shows us that a GUI can be something fun to do, like swiping here and there , making you feel a bit like Captain Kirk.
The internet looks great, the iPod functionality is cool, I mean just look at Macy Grey, even she looks hot. The icons are great in each menu, well thought out and clear. Google maps looks fantastic and incorporate their traffic into it and looks to do it quickly and without all those “click ok to use data network” you might get with other phones…
I had settled this week I wouldn’t bite the Apple bait and get the iPhone, now I am back on the fence (OK, I am all in but don’t tell my wife).

As an Apple fan with two Macs and an 80 gig iPod: No. I still won’t buy one, The ATT part of it is a deal breaker for me.
