iPhone rumors galore, will it launch on Monday?
Last week, it seemed Kevin Rose had the inside scoop on Apple’s much anticipated iPhone, AKA the Apple Phone. Well, it looks like others had the inside scoop as well, because Morgan Stanley analyst Rebecca Runkle has added to the mess of rumors by revealing more pricing possibilities. She says the 4GB and 8GB models of the new Apple Phone will cost $599 and $649 respectively and will be wider than the iPod nano, but narrower than the 5G iPod. She also added it will have a 3.5 inch screen and come in multiple colors like the new nano. Her prediction is it will launch in the first half of 2007.
Now Brian from Gizmodo has declared that he is in-the-know as well, and announced the iPhone will launch on Monday. “I guarantee it. It isn’t what I expected at all. And I’ve already said too much.” Doubtful, but we’ll just have to wait and see. And if it doesn’t launch on Monday, mark my words, it will launch sometime after that. Oh no… now I’ve said too much.
