Ok, what seemed laughable just a few months ago for Palm, has become an interesting issue now for other mobile OS’.  At CES, a Foleo-like product was shown for Windows Mobile devices and now, the iPholio seems to have hit a mark.

For now, this is simply a concept.  However, I’d guess the enterprising folks kicking the WM Foleo off the ground might give this ago as well if there is interest.  Doug Aramoth over at CrunchGrear seems to be high on the concept, though to be fair, he lusted after the Foleo as well.  And anyone who lugs around a laptop regularly hopes for something lighter.

I’d argue, most users lugging around a laptop do so for business purposes and until today the iPhone has not been made business friendly.  Here the Web Worker Daily lays out reasons why corp. IT shouldn’t support it.  Simple things like security, 3rd party apps, battery replacement issue etc highlight the list.  Some things might be corrected today, others won’t.

So what is your say?  Could an iPholio make some bucks on the street or is it probing the niche of a niche?
