HP shipping its first 1080p LCD HDTV

HP PL5072N 50 PlasmaHP has launched a new line of their flat panel TV’s, including their first 1080p LCD HDTV. The new line will feature HP’s Visual Fidelity technology that will enhance the image as well as have three HDMI interfaces and PC inputs. It looks like HP is planning for these TV’s to be able to handle a decent amount of next generation components, good news for us consumers.

The new models include:


  • HP PL4272N 42-inch High-Definition Plasma TV - $1399

  • HP PL5072N 50-inch High-Definition Plasma TV - $2099

  • HP LC4776N 47-inch High Definition 1080p LCD TV - $2499

  • HP LC4276N 42-inch High Definition 1080p LCD TV - $1899

  • HP LC3272N 32-inch High Definition 720p LCD TV - $ 899

  • HP LC3772N 37-inch High Definition 720p LCD TV - $1199

These models are all currently available and can be found in both retail stores and www.hpshopping.com.
