HP EliteBook 6930p

Today, HP announced that they will be coming out with ten new laptops, all specifically designed to meet the needs of businesses. This bad boy comes with everything you would expect in a powerful, business laptop.

The EliteBook 6930p comes with a weatherproof exterior, protecting it from extreme heat and cold, humidity, dust, bumps, and anything else you feel like throwing at it. It comes loaded with QuickLook 2, meaning it can run e-mail and other applications, allowing it to boot up in a measly 10-12 seconds, and the cool thing here is that it’s not restricted to Vista - it can run XP as well.

HP’s senior vice president and general manager, Ted Clark, had this to say about the new notebooks;

“HP is creating notebook computers that captivate users with striking design and the right features to deliver a great user experience, our new lineup further enhances our brand leadership with notebooks that are tailored for the ever-changing mobile lifestyle.”

Additionally, it comes with a really cool webcam, which also is a card reader. This technology works when you tilt the camera, you will be able to insert a card and it will then scan the card for the data stored, and launch it on the screen. All this comes jam-packed in a gorgeous 14.1-inch screen, which is more energy efficient than previous HP displays. Furthermore, it only weighs about 4.7 pounds and has about 9 hours of battery life, which can be extended by purchasing an optional extra battery, totaling up to 15 hours of life.
