Hooray! Gmail adds a basic feature, upgrades uploading

It’s one of those “if anyone else did this, it wouldn’t be news” stories. Google just added the ability to upload multiple items without having to repeatedly click “Attach a File.” Now, you can hit the button once and you can select lots of files.
This is one of those small features that you may not notice at first, but when you need it, you’ll be glad it’s there. Due to Gmail’s old way of attaching files, I would regularly create a .ZIP file to send. That also let me make sure I didn’t run into any upload limits (Gmail has a 20MB cap on attachments).
Maybe Google has been slow to add features to Gmail because they have everyone working on their super-non-secret GDrive project.
Google has simple down to a science. Maybe it’s time to get a little more complex.
