Help save Windows XP, new license sales to end June 30
Microsoft is set to stop issuing new licenses for Windows XP as of June 30, 2008. To stop that from happening InfoWorld has began a campaign to ”save Windows XP.” Their hope is to convince Microsoft to continue selling XP licenses indefinitely, so far they have reached about 70,000 signatures after just 2 weeks. Of course, even as InfoWorld admits, even with “a million signatures” they may not be able to save XP. If Vista is not right for you, head on over to help save XP before its reaches it end of life, either that or hope for a quick release of Windows 7.

Seriously guys, you can still buy licenses. How many more XP licenses do you actually need?
What sense is it to run a 7 year old OS? It’s outdated, and Vista runs everything perfectly fine on a new PC. Concerned about old hardware? You can’t buy old hardware, so you won’t need future licenses. Essentially, all new PCs should be using Vista if they are using Windows at all.
I’ve been running Vista from the 1st month. It’s perfectly stable, and it’s just as fast as XP is in virtually every program / game. There is no legitimate reason not to use Vista.
You really hate Vista so much, and want to throw a tantrum about not buying more XP licenses? Go to Linux if you really want to see how bad Vista is.
