Yeah, it’s true and it sucks!

I have had tons of problems for almost 3-4 weeks now! Some days it works other days it doesn’t. The really crappy part is that you don’t know when the text messages have really gone through or not. You don’t get a failure message or anything.

I had one friend who got a text from me at 3AM, problem was that I sent it 1 day ago at around noon! It is a real pain in the butt explaining that. Now I don’t even send text cause I am afraid that will happen.

Pretty useless having unlimited text :(

Same problem on my end. I read on another site it is an LRN issue, whatever that is. I also saw that some problem with a recent WAP upgrade recently made by Helio.
All I know is that texting is not working, I dn’t care what the prb is, just want it workn.

Yeah, here is the statement about compatibility with carriers, T-Mobile is listed.

Anybody heard when it’ll be working again?

Sometimes it works for me but other times it doesn’t. What is really weird is that sometimes I can send to some people on t-mobile but not others ???

I noticed too sometimes that I get a return message saying they cant receive picture messages so send them an email instead. BUT I could send to them the day before and a few days later it works. They can receive from other people not on Helio and they have no problem sending to me. I can always receive.

Helio customer support is really nice and pretty quick to answer the phone. But I can’t get an answer from them about what is wrong.

They have had me do “Soft-Resets,” “Hard-Resets,” and all kinds of other steps with my device. Nothing works. They said it likely wasn’t the device and asked the “floor manager”. Then told me that they were aware of a problem sending to t-mobile and they were working on fixing it. BUT they have no idea when it will be fixed.

I really like Helio, I hope they can get it working.

Just get all your friends to switch to Helio instead! LOL.  T-Mobile isn’t that great anyway.  I switched from tmobile to Helio and got my Helio Heat for FREE from http://www.hellohelio.net.  It is a much better phone than any of the other carriers give away, especially t-mobile.  maybe if TMO gave away the sidekick I’d come back.

To be honest, I would go back to t-mobile. I really like Helio and their devices. Helio does have the best interfaces on their devices as well.

That is the problem. I am now spoiled to Helio and the SMS/MMS doesn’t work!

It’s like being an addict and then having your dealer go on a long vacation overseas!

I really hope that Helio and Tmobile get this all fixed soon!
