Green House shows off new Kana Micro MP3 players

Green House has introduced a new series of Kana Micro MP3 players that look like they’re USB drives.  The players have up to two hours of battery life before they need to be recharged (charging is done though your USB drive) and can store up to 2GB of music, although you’ll have to provide your own microSD card to do so.  Currently, you can pick one of these babies up in Japan only in purple, orange, green, blue, red, pink, and clear for around $16, no word on when of if we’ll see them hit the United States.

They look a lot like USB drives which will probably make them less likely to be stolen, but also more likely to be lost given their size.  2GB is also not a lot of music and providing your own memory card is pretty bogus.  What do you think about these?
