It looks like the much anticipated mobile phone powered by Google’s Android Software will finally be pushed through, and if we are lucky it might come upon us as early as October or later just in time for Christmas. The New York Times is reporting that HTC will be pushing out a new mobile handset powered by Google Android and also went on to mention that the Google phone will be released by none other than T-Mobile.
Since, this Google phone has been highly anticipated and much awaited by everyone, we are all expecting that it could at least match to the capabilities and features of the iPhone. Fortunately, if HTC’s plan pushed through, we might be looking into a touchscreen mobile handset with a screen that slides out to reveal a full five-row keyboard as well. Said Google phone would also support third party applications download and installation, similar to what the iPhone is capable of doing through the iTunes.
But perhaps the best specs of the Google phone is its full support and access to Google’s various web applications and services. Google has the advantage for having various mobile services which are already being implemented in some mobile phones available in the market today. Now, with a mobile phone of their own, Google now has more options for their ad serving program.
So now, the waiting game begins.
