GoDaddy ad is most watched at Super Bowl says TiVo

GoDaddy Ad

If you watched the Super Bowl in its entirety, you probably enjoyed the commercials as they were pretty good this year.  However, you might have paid attention especially to the GoDaddy commercials if you are a male because they were more male-oriented, shall we say.  How do we know the GoDaddy ads were the ones that were most watched?  Simple, many TiVo users who watched the game went back and rewatched many of GoDaddy’s attention-grabbing ads.

The ads were highlighted with appearances by Danica Patrick and what made these ads so successful was the way GoDaddy wanted them displayed.  In fact, GoDaddy specifically wanted one of their ads to be shown in the final few minutes of the game, a tactic that definitely paid off in the end.  If the Cardinals or Steelers had blown out the opponent, many people would just turn off the TV, but it was very close in the final few minutes, and so everyone was watching the game and the commercials closely.

TiVo also announced that eight of the ten most watched ads aired in the second half.  For the next Super Bowl, I’m sure it’s going to be much, much harder to get an ad placed in the second half of the game versus the first half.

I remember thinking to myself when I first saw these live that they were some really creative ads.  In case you missed the GoDaddy ads, you can check them out below.
