Garmin beefs up Nuvi 700 line

Nuvi 770

Garmin has recently launched three new GPS systems in the Nuvi lineup, the Nuvi 750, 760 and 770. Some key new features in these units are the ability to store up to any ten routes of your choosing. Additionally, they will also sort routes of multiple destinations and provide you with the most direct route, which can sometimes be a hassle finding the best route if you’re in a rush.

Other minor additions to these models are informing you of speed limits for major highways, find your car by marking the position the car was in before being removed and shut off. They also sport FM transmitters and can play MP3 files into your car stereos. All three of these models support all these features.

Furthermore, the 760 and 770 models are the only models that support Bluetooth and feature an FM traffic receiver with a three month subscription, the 750 does not. The 770 is the only model that has pre-loaded European maps, which the other units do not have.

The 750, 760, and 770 systems are expected to be released in September with a MSRP of $599.99, $799.99 and the 770 model selling for $999.99, which is 200 more than the 760 model.
