Well we have wrapped up the collection of Microsoft Surface images, and now we can get down with some good videos. The first two videos up are demo’s of some photo applications. One is a photo viewer, while the second takes it a little deeper and mixes photo viewing with geo-tagging and virtual earth maps.

Overall they are both exciting applications on their own. I can see these in a household setting with family or friends gathered around and actually enjoying looking at digital images as opposed to looking at a bunch of images using a slideshow format where everyone is crowded around one display and more than likely just hoping that every image they are seeing is the last so they can sit down and relax again.

The second video, which shows the geo-tagging is really neat to see. It finally gives me a reason to think geo-tagging is (or at least will be) useful. This video is a little longer, but will blow your mind and I would consider it a must watch.
