Ahh the month of May. The rain begins to let up, the flowers start to bloom, the weather warms up, you are either getting closer to the end of school or dreading being in the office for the summer, weekend trips, and Memorial Day, what could get better? Nothing will ever be good for you if you forget to get your mother a well deserved Mother’s Day present (now only 5 days away). If you are like us, you tend to buy a present at the last minute, and often have to order it so it ends up coming in late—though you save the day with flowers as a placeholder—so why break the streak this year. So what are we suggesting/giving away? We will do our best to get this to you by Saturday but there is always the possibility that it does not arrive until Monday—so make sure to pick-up flowers for Sunday.

A fountain of gentle wisdom, she has always been patient and loving no matter what the circumstances. I don’t know what I would have done without her in my life…she has rescued me from myself more times than I can count. I can only hope that I grow more like her every day because she is like a song in my heart.

My father was badly injured and couldn’t work . My mom just retired, after 46 yrs at the same only 2months ago!

on May 10, 2007 at 07:12 AM - LINKMy mom does not like to listen to music, but she is the best. Has always taken care of me, my brother, and sister, since my father passed when i was 5. I would love to enter my sister if allowed. She has 2 beautiful 3 year old twin girls ( my nieces ) and never gets to go out or even leave the house to walk to the store to get groceries half of the time, because my nieces want to take off and she cannot handle both of them walking to the store at once as their father is always working and she has nobody to babysit. I live out of town and love my nieces to death. I watch them for her when i go to visit, but pretty much all she does is walk to the grocery store.
