Ahh the month of May. The rain begins to let up, the flowers start to bloom, the weather warms up, you are either getting closer to the end of school or dreading being in the office for the summer, weekend trips, and Memorial Day, what could get better? Nothing will ever be good for you if you forget to get your mother a well deserved Mother’s Day present (now only 5 days away). If you are like us, you tend to buy a present at the last minute, and often have to order it so it ends up coming in late—though you save the day with flowers as a placeholder—so why break the streak this year.  Heck, Gadgetell and Best Buy will even help you out.

So what are we suggesting/giving away?
Surprise and delight mom with either a pink or silver 4GB Apple iPod nano (we have one of each) and a variety of gourmet chocolates – all wrapped up in one package that is both easy to give and a joy to receive (a $214.99 value). We will do our best to get this to you by Saturday but there is always the possibility that it does not arrive until Monday—so make sure to pick-up flowers for Sunday.

Whether mom is an avid runner, a dancing queen, or an aspiring diva, she will love taking her music with her everywhere she goes on her iPod nano, easily stored in her palm, pocket or purse. From her old disco favorites to her secret classic rock obsessions, having her own personal soundtrack to accompany her will make even the most mundane tasks more fun. What’s more, this special gift set pairs mom’s love of music with her love of chocolate and wraps them in a charming, polka-dotted box inspired by the prism of iPod nano colors and the retro design that is all the rage this spring.

My mother is the greatest mother that I could ever have asked for.  She has been there for me through thick and thin and to this day continues to do more for me than even I could imagine

My mom became a widow when her youngest was 2 years old.  She has been through so much, losing parents, siblings, friends, a child, and a spouse; however, my mother never complains.  She is always positive and just the greatest.

The main reason she needs an ipod though, so she can listen to “her kind” of music and the rest of us won’t complain. :)

My mother sacrificed everything while I was growing up so I could dress like all the other kids at school.  I didn’t realize her sacrifice until I had children of my own.  I can never make up to her for all her sacrifices because they were tremendous, but I will spend every waking minute trying to show her how appreciative I am.

  • My Mom deserves an IPOD because I want to make her smile again, My was in a car accident that left her disabled and in pain 24 hours a day, I hate to see her in so much pain, she suffered major back injuries, My loves music but doesn’t have anything to listen to it on, she love to listen Josh Groban, she says the only time she gets any releif from the pain is when she hears him sing it makes her smile, So this gift to her when be so helpful to her dealing with her pain.

My mother continues to be the best role model.  She cares for her 97-year-old parents full time and still dotes on her daughters and granddaughters.  She’s the best!

My mom deserves an Ipod so that she could have something of her own.  Every time something of ours broke, we would borrow hers and she wouldn’t get it back. She deserves this because her mp3 player skips and rarely works. If she wins this, we promise not to touch =]

Hmmm, man I’d love it. But my mom does deserve something like this. She’s been paying for internet for the past year and a half, however my father hasn’t stayed home the days he’s suppose to so they could get hooked up. Instead my mom sits sadly at the computer playing her solitare. It is quiet in the room, unless she wants to blast the music from the living room to hear it on the other side of the house. I think having her own ipod would definitely make her day, and dad wouldn’t have to listen to her beach songs every single day.

My mom is the best because she had her priorities straight.  She knew the true importance of love and family and taught it to me by example every day.

My mom is so much fun! I remember when I was a little boy and she always took me on adventures. Now she is taking my 4 year old son on adventures, too. She takes him for nature hikes, she takes him to parks and pretends that they are entering a Leprechaun Forest. She keeps the imagination alive in all of us. She has 8 grandchildren who couldn’t live without her sense of humor and her sense of fun. She would love an iPod for the quiet times when she is out for a walk without one of the little ones.

She just might go to the gym and get her health back if she wins a Rocken Cool MP3 player. She is a mother of 3 kids.  She is also in the NAVY, she rocks.

  • Luana Hayth said:

WOO HOO! That’s a cool prize for MOM!

My mom is slightly technologically deprived. She just started to use her ATM card not long ago. I think the iPod my scare her at first, but I KNOW she would love it for her walks around her neighborhood. She does so much for us that this would be a nice surprise that she would never expect!
