If you’ve been paying attention to the blogosphere lately, you probably know that there’s been some uproar about Facebook lately. They recently added a feature called News Feed that essentially displays everything your friends do in a feed-reader type format - kind of like a blog of sorts. This bothers members because it’s really an invasion of privacy if you can’t turn it off. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook posted an apology on the site’s blog today. He also noted that due to all of the howling they’ve been hearing from the masses (including people starting revolting groups), Facebook has been coding in privacy settings for the News Feed so you can control what people are seeing about your life. So if you’re a “poker” on Facebook, now nobody has to know but you and the victim. Check out the new dashboard above, and Mark’s apology post after the break.
