Epson PictureMate photo printers
In a world quickly becoming dominated by digital media more and more manufacturers are striving to entice you to their particular means of printing and exhibiting your media. For as long as I can remember Epson has always been up there with the best of them, and in fact a PictureMate model has been the “best-selling dedicated 4”x6” photo printer at retail for the last three years”, so I think it is fair to say that these are worth a look.
They both produce borderless 4” x 6” prints at speeds up to 37 seconds, and both models have a built in viewer with a 3.6” total viewing area. Cropping and basic editing is possible through this screen.
For people who want a quick and easy way to print stacks of durable, professional quality photos. PictureMate Dash and PictureMate Zoom are perfect companions to any digital camera, enabling consumers to easily print professional quality 4”x6” photos at home or on the go, day or night, with or without a computer.
A few key features:
- automatically resize photos the way they want, offering 18 layout options
- built-in memory card slots support all popular memory card types
- ultimate photo archiving solution with the ability to save photos onto a CD hassle-free
- easy to catalog those archived photos
The PictureMate Dash is $99 and the PictureMate Zoom is $199, are available now and can be purchased on line and through a wide range of stores.

Epson’s Picture mates are good, but I still think that judging by the price of the printer and by the ink price HP is the one to go for!
