The Turbo Charge, Cell Boost, and others are all looking to solve the battery life plague—that ever electronics device is currently limited by poor battery life. Computer, cellphones, and gaming machines would all be more powerful if we had better batteries. According to market research group Roper ASW, 20 percent of consumers lose cell phone power at least once a week. Energizer is entering the mix with Energizer Energi To Go, portable battery-driven devices that supply power to the majority of today’s devices.
The new cell phone chargers can power 80 percent of the cell phone brands available in the United States—there were 170 million mobile phones in use in the U.S. last year. The MSRP for Energizer Energi To Go Cell Phone Charger is $19.99, and includes the reusable charger, the phone tip connector and two Energizer e2 Lithium AA batteries.
The Energizer Energi To Go Audio Power Pack powers the iPod while the Gaming Power Pack powers gaming systems including PSP, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. Both four-battery power packs will retail for $29.99 each, and will include the reusable charger, a smart tip and four Energizer e2 Lithium AA batteries.
Energizer Energi To Go products will be available nationwide on September 1.
