Creative Announces the ZEN

As both Amazon and, eventually, Creative themselves have confirmed, pictured here is the new Creative ZEN. Probably the first Creative player that doesn’t add a description after the “Zen” tagline. The ZEN is super slim and boasts a 2.5 inch screen. Internal memory ranges from 4, 8, and 16 gigabytes, with a SD slot.
Sound boring? This baby is actually pretty cool. While you can play the normal bunch of audio files (MP3, WMA, WMA+DRM, AAC, or Audible) but the video codec support is staggering; WMV, DivX, Xvid, MJPEG, and TiVo to Go.
Intrigued? Pricing ranges from $149, $199, $299 for the 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB, respectively. The ZEN should drop sometime next month.
