In case you were in the market for a new PMP, Cowon just made the decision for you a little bit easier.  On PMPs such as the F2, D2, Q5W, I7, U5 and the A3 the prices have been significantly reduced.  Unfortunately, the pricing on the O2 will remain the same. 

Now, I will be discussing the old price and the new price for each PMP model, so here we go.  Let’s begin with the iAudio F2 4GB PMP, it was previously $109 and is now $79.  Next, we have the Cowon D2 PMP available in a 4GB version, either black, white, or red.  All of these were $159, but now they are $139.  We also have the 8GB version of the D2 available in black and white.  They previously sold for $189 and are now selling for $159.  Next, we have the Q5W, which comes in a few different versions.  The 40GB dark navy one was previously $489, but now sells for $439.  The 60GB dark navy sold for $529, and now sells for $469.  The 60GB with a GPS sold for $659 and now sells for $589.  The 80GB sold for $569 and now sells for $499.

Moving on, we have the iAudio7, the 4GB silver version sold for $119, but now sells for $99.  The iAudio 7 red 8GB sold for $149, but now sells for $119.  Lastly, the iAudio 7 red 16GB sold for $189, and now sells for $159.  Now, we have the Cowon U5.  The 8GB sells in either black and silver, but both used to be $129 and are now $109.  The A3 sells in 30GB, 60GB, and 80GB, all silver in color.  The 30GB sold for $329, but now sells for $299.  The 60GB sold for $369, but now sells for $319.  Lastly, the 80GB sold for $409, but now sells for $349. 

That’s a wrap on all the pricing changes that have taken place.  It looks like Cowon should have a pretty successful holiday season.  Let us know if you plan on buying any one of these PMP’s now that they are cheaper.
