CompUSA to close the doors for good

CompUSA stores have been sold to Gordon Brothers Group, a restructuring firm. CompUSA currently has 103 stores and plans to keep every store open and fully staffed through the holiday season, each store will also have “store-closing sales,”  which could mean some nice holiday deals. An exact close date was not announced, other than after the holidays. Gordon Brothers plans to sell stores in key markets and close the remaining unsold stores.

Its sort of an end-of-era with CompUSA closing, its a store that (at least most of the time) I was able to find what I wanted or needed, even though pricing was never the lowest around. I am not sure if I should be sad or just say good riddance.
